So true, I think they are very different experiences are both are fun for different reasons! I enjoy the movie more because of the animation and the music, they really elevated the story imo
Completely agree, both can be enjoyed regardless of each other but I prefer the movie too. Not least of all because Ghibli’s voice acting is always, always peak.
I just started Spy X Family and Food Dungeon (I like the title in Spanish way better 😆 Tragones y Mazmorras) and I’m glad to find they are in the Good side of things. I’ve been laughing a lot with them. So funny!
I also like the Spanish title, I actually watched it with the Spanish dub and it was really nice. Both shows are hilarious, I didn't have much to say about Spy x Family so I didn't comment on it for the sake of brevity, but it's a wholesome sitcom, I enjoyed it a lot
Why beyond the boundary was one of my fav. Especially i liked izumi not for her shady character but for her strong persona (strong minded, appearance n style). And i liked the literary humor they toss at each other. Though i can agree with you on Another but i liked its episode 5-6.
Also have you watched
Hamatora
Re-Hamatora
Noragami
Violet evergarden.
Ancient magus bride
I want to eat your pancreas
These were also my favs.
And Ghost Hunt,
wolf girl and black prince,
My little monster
They were also good shows.
And MAID SAMA was my all time Absolute favorite. (Both anime and manga)
I mentioned Noragami and Violet Evergarden, both are in the good tier! I haven't seen the others (except Merida)
About Beyond the Boundary, I just didn't like the humor or the characters, and it felt like it was trying too hard to be sad at times. It wasn't for me I guess!
I agree, I wish more people watched Fate! I think maybe it's a little hard to get into it because people get confused on where to start. I didn't like Shirou as much at first but he really grew on me and I loved his character arc!
I read a bit of Bleach years ago but it didn't really grab me, I do want to get around to it again in the future since it's the only big 3 I'm missing and the new anime looks super fun
I don't think that has much to do with it, I think the author wanted to have a more traditional happy ending and wasn't qualified to or interested in exploring the political nuances of the ending. At the end of the day the story is a Shonen and therefore targetted towards teenage boys so I can understand the author not wanting to include a depressing "Trials of Nuremberg" in the ending, I just wish it was acknowledged in some way or at least implied that the war crime trials would take place at some point. A line of dialogue addressing that would have been enough
Huzzah to Howls Moving Castle! Also a personal favorite and I’m sick of the haters who complain about how much it deviates from the book.

monthly girl nozaki-kun appreciation !! genuinely that show is so underrated
Exactly!!

Well i guess everyone has a different taste 🙃
Delighted to see Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust in its rightful place alongside Nausicaa and Mononoke.
Its such a cool movie
Tsk, Tsk, how can Akira not be peak? :) Howls is also a personal favourite, one of the first english dubs that I came to like.
Sorryyyy I didn't care much for the story or the characters but I loved the animation, perhaps I will like it more on rewatch
Fate is insanely underrated. Shirou is probably my favorite anime protagonist.
Have you read Bleach? If you haven't, please read the manga until TYBW. It's leagues above the anime.

I disagree with many of your placements, but good list nonetheless. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas! I know some of my picks are a little controversial, but I'm always open to debate :)
So happy the see Fate Stay Night on here! I love Fate. I also agree, Hunter x Hunter is peak but One Piece is the best shonen there is, by far.
Fate is great! I think hxh is objectively amazing but one piece just has an extra something that makes you become obsessed
